Color Rendering Index is a measure of the lightness of a color. The higher the CRI score, the better the LED will render colors. A CRI score above 90 is recommended to ensure that the LED strip doesn’t produce distorted or warm colors.
In lighting, brightness can be measured in lumens. LEDs that have higher lumens will produce brighter colors. You won’t need to use more than 200-500lm/m to accent light. For more light, you can choose an LED that has a greater lumen output.
