Four ace majors of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore

Technological University in Singapore

Some schools in Singapore have started a large wave of 2023 fall applications. Today, let’s talk about the newly opened four majors in the direction of humanities and social sciences in Nanyang Technological University!

First of all, these four majors are set up in the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSiS) of Nanyang Technological University and only recruit masters and doctorates. This school has trained many diplomats, government officials, and even high-level officers!

Secondly, these four majors are also very powerful. Although they are social science majors, they have a very large span. The curriculum is research-centered, and the teaching emphasizes allowing students to apply the knowledge they have learned in different professional fields to diplomacy, policy formulation, research, and journalism, public relations and consulting.

Such relatively macro-level majors have a very broad employment direction. If you don’t want to be in politics, a better choice for employment is some relatively large international consulting companies, as well as strategic development departments and market research departments of some large international companies, etc. The salaries are all good. Let’s take a look at the application-related information for these four majors in detail.

International relations

The Master of International Relations program equips students to understand the theory of international relations and develop their own concepts to deal with real-world situations, and is designed to help students better understand the changing international arena and develop their analytical skills for a wide range of international and transnational issues in an increasingly complex world, from traditional military security issues to non-traditional issues such as energy and food security, integrate theory and policy, and develop a systematic understanding of the relationship between state and non-state actors in a globalizing international system, providing a sound basis for policy analysis in appropriate novel and creative ways in a changing policy environment.
