When can the App be used?
The app supports users regularly checking and recording blood pressure, pulsing, blood sugar, sleep quality, determining health risks using self-tests, taking medication, and building a healthy lifestyle in the areas of exercise, nutrition, and relaxation since it is the best nutrition tracking app. However, you should have undergone a medical examination before starting to ensure that there are no contraindications for the recommendations provided by Welltory – a rescuetime iPhone that is also responsible to measure stress level.
When should the App NOT be used?
Pregnancy: Do not use this app if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.
Minors: Do not use the app if you are under 18 years of age.
Insufficient language skills: Do not use the app if you do not understand anything in the instructions and recommendations or if you do not have a sufficient command the English language.
Do not use the sleep restriction (reduction in bedtime) in the sleep module if one of the following contraindications is present:
- Bipolar disorder
- Untreated hypersomnolence
Your daily plan
The Welltory heart rate variability tracking app helps you to remember your measurements, medication, and goals. You will receive a clear daily plan that shows you your tasks for the day, which you can tick off after completion.
Reminder for measurements: You can turn-on reminders on your daily schedule for your blood pressure and blood sugar measurements or for logging your sleep. The app reminds you of your measurements with a push notification (if activated).
Medication: If you are taking medication, you can add it to the daily schedule. So you can document your income and the app can also remind you to take your medication. In the daily schedule, you can activate and deactivate the reminder function for taking your medication.
Your personal data
You can find your personal data under the menu item “Data” and “Personal data”. Here you will find your name, gender, date of birth, vital data (e.g., weight and height), data on diagnosis and therapy (e.g., presence of hypertension, type 2 diabetes, sleep disorders), and information on calculated risks (e.g., heart age and pulse). Also, Welltory offers an apple watch HRV system. You can adjust all information that is not calculated or provided by the app. To update your risks, you can repeat the self-tests under “Program” as often as you like.
Welltory is the best blood pressure app. You can find your measuring pressure diary under “Data” and “Blood pressure”. You will find an overview of your recorded blood pressure and pulse measurements and your stated physical well-being in the pressure level diary. You can also add measurements in the blood pressure diary.
Export blood pressure values as PDF
You can download the history of your measurements, as well as the individual, measured values as a PDF document by tapping on “Export report”.

You can also find a chronological list of all entries of your measurements under «Entries» on the second page of your pressure diary.
Adjust an entry afterward
Tap on the pen to the right of the respective entry to adjust or remove it. You can easily add more recordings and data by tapping on “Add entry” in the “Overview” area.
You can find an overview of your measurement behavior on the third page of the tension diary. The measurement calendar shows you at a glance the days on which you measured your blood pressure.
You can find your blood sugar diary under “Data” and “Blood sugar”. Here you can enter your blood sugar and your long-term sugar (HbA1c value).
Unit and target values
You can select the unit in which you measure your blood sugar and HbA1c and the limit values for blood sugar and HbA1c agreed with the doctor under “Unit and target values”. If you have not agreed on any specific target values, you can accept the suggested values.
Enter your blood sugar measurement
You can enter your measurement on the first page «Blood sugar» by tapping on «Add entry». Here you can enter your measured value, the type of measurement (“fasting / before meals” vs. “not fasting”), the time of measurement (e.g., “breakfast”), and your physical wellbeing. When you make a blood glucose entry, the current date and time are automatically set for you. However, you can adjust the date and time if the measurement was taken earlier. The measurement is automatically recorded as an “additional measurement”. You can also adjust this preselection when entering your blood sugar.
Blood sugar history
On the first page of your blood sugar diary (“Blood Sugar”) you can see the history of your measurements for the current day. You can also view the history of your average values for the last week or the last month.
HbA1c course and the average value
On the second page of your blood sugar diary («HbA1c»), you can see the course of your long-term sugar. Based on your target value, the diagram shows in color which values are in your target range (black) or above your target value (red). In the area under the progress diagram, you will find the average HbA1c value of the last 12 months and the number of values in the target area.

You can download the history of your measurements, as well as the individual, measured values as a PDF document by tapping on “Export report” under “Blood sugar” or “HbA1c”.
List of entries
A chronological list of all entries of your measurements can be found under «Entries» on the third page of your blood pressure diary. You can also use the filter to only display blood sugar or HbA1c values.
Adjust an entry afterward
Tap on the pen to the right of the respective entry to adjust or remove it. You also have the option of adding further measurements by tapping on “Add measurement” in the “Blood sugar” or “HbA1c” areas.
You can find your sleep diary under “Data” and “Sleep”. Here you can enter your bedtime and sleep duration. Your sleep efficiency is calculated based on this.
On the first page, «Overview», you can enter your sleep information by tapping on «Add entry». Here you can enter your bedtime, your time to get up, your time to sleep, your time to get up, and the duration of the sleep interruption, as well as your well-being in the morning. For the lecture, you can indicate whether you took an afternoon nap. If so, you can also enter bedtime, time to get up, time to fall asleep, and time to get up here. Optionally, you can also note whether you took sleeping pills, drank caffeinated or alcoholic beverages, and watched TV / used your mobile phone before going to sleep. When you make an entry the date of the lecture is automatically set for you when you go to bed and the date of the current day is automatically set for you when you get up. However, you can adjust the date and time.
History and average values
On the first page of your sleep diary («Overview») you can see the history of your bedtime, sleep duration and sleep efficiency, and your average values over the last 7 days. You also have the option of displaying the history of your average values for the last week, the last month, or the previous year. To do this, select the desired period above the history diagram.

You can download the history of your sleep entries as well as the individual values as a PDF document by tapping on “Export report”.

You can see the history of your medication intake under “Data” and “Medication intake”. Here, you can subsequently mark income as “done” or “not done” by clicking on the corresponding income.
The app calculates average values for tension and blood sugar and sleep efficiency and gives feedback based on your recorded values and data:
- Make sure that you record the values and data correctly. Check them after each entry and adjust them if necessary, keeping your records up-to-date.
- Ensure that you measure your tension and sugar level correctly and do not make any measurement errors.
- Use only approved measuring devices for home measurement of your blood pressure and/or your blood sugar. If you still have any queries, contact your doctor.
- Please note that the transmission of PDF reports takes place outside of our app. If, for example, you use your e-mail program for this, your report will likely be transmitted unencrypted in cleartext.
